The Eastern Seaboard shares Bangkok's pattern: November–February is peak season with dry, cooler weather. Low-season (May–October) rain typically arrives late afternoon, so morning rounds are rarely lost — and rates are at their best. More detail in our best time to play guide.
Beyond Siam, Pattaya offers genuine variety: the lakeside Burapha Golf Club, the dramatic clifftop layout at Chee Chan Golf Resort, and the manicured fairways of Phoenix Gold. The eastern Pattaya cluster — Laem Chabang, Khao Kheow, Eastern Star — tends to be quieter and more affordable than the courses closer to the city.
Pattaya's golfing infrastructure is excellent: most courses offer modern clubhouses, caddies as standard, and easy transfer from Pattaya hotels. Green fees range from around ฿1,200 for the more modest layouts to ฿4,500 at Siam Country Club during high season.

Yes — caddies are standard practice at virtually all Thai golf courses and are mandatory at most. They carry your bag, advise on lines and yardages, and are a core part of the Thai golf experience. Caddie fees are typically ฿300–฿500 per round (around £7–£12), paid separately to green fees.
The dry season (November to April) generally offers the best conditions for golf in Pattaya, with lower humidity and minimal rain. The shoulder months of October and May can also be excellent. Some courses offer lower green fees during the wetter summer months.
Most courses require a collared shirt and tailored shorts or trousers. Denim, sleeveless shirts, and cargo shorts are typically not permitted. Smart casual attire is the standard — when in doubt, err on the side of smarter.
Yes, international visitors are welcome at the vast majority of Pattaya's golf courses. Some private clubs require introduction by a member, but most courses actively cater to overseas golfers. It's advisable to book tee times in advance, especially on weekends and during peak season (December–March).
