Phoenix Gold's three nine-hole courses are set among naturally rolling parkland, offering spectacular vistas on many holes. In 2013 Ms Chanya Swangchitr, an experienced golf course owner/operator, took over this gem and promptly announced a major investment in the property, signing agreements to upgrade the course, clubhouse, and surrounding 1,000 rai (160 hectares) of property for property development and a planned public listing.

We played at the Mountain and Ocean Course, which are two of three layouts here — Mountain, Lake, and Ocean. The fairways (Ocean course) were in good condition, but the greens were not great. The staff mentioned it’s actually the time for green maintenance, but since the Lake Course is currently under maintenance, they decided to delay work on Ocean. Unfortunately, the course was too crowded that day. We had to wait at every hole before teeing off. To make things worse, the group behind us kept

Played at Phoenix Gold Pattaya recently. The course layout is beautiful and the overall environment is very pleasant. Facilities are well-maintained — including the clubhouse, restrooms, and pro shop. Service from staff and caddies was professional and friendly. However, the condition of the greens during this visit was below expectation. They were just fair — somewhat patchy and inconsistent in speed, which affected putting experience. Nice course but WAY overbooked. Seems they prioritize money over player experience. Had to wait 30 min to make the turn because they inserted groups to cram as many players on the course as possible. For what they charge the course management should be much better. Last time playing here.
