Wonderful course. Extremely well maintained. Challenging because of 11 speed greens and significant false fronts. Getting ball to hold on the green tough without backspin. Cost of small errors significant. Atleast 2 strokes loss if ball misses green or rolls of as greens all elevated and green speed too fast for normal golfers. In many cases the greenside bunkers were very deep so had to use lob wedge to recover. Still was fun. Expect to play 10 over normal handicap as cost of small errors too
Played Siam Country Club Rolling Hills and yeah… this one doesn’t mess around. It looks beautiful and calm, but it definitely wants your full attention. Miss your line and the course is happy to remind you why it’s called Rolling Hills. Greens are smooth, some approaches are tricky, and you really need to think your way around. Properly one of the best courses I ever played. Nice fairway. Green is a killer. Speed is about 11-12. Damn nice and super fast. Great experience playing such nice and fast green. However it’s not very forgiving. If landed on the wrong side of the green. Ball will roll out. Front desk lady is super rude. Just avoid the pro shop.
