Patong Beach is Phuket's most popular resort area, and while it's slightly further from most golf courses than the Laguna/Bang Tao end of the island, all of Phuket's courses are easily reachable within 30–45 minutes.
Phuket Country Club is the closest at around 20 minutes from Patong. Red Mountain and Loch Palm are popular mid-range options 25–30 minutes away. Blue Canyon and Laguna Golf require a 40-minute drive but are worth the journey.
Transfer tip: Most Phuket hotels can arrange a golf transfer. Shared transfers through tour operators cost ฿300–฿600 per person each way.
