Laem Chabang is a real treat to play. The fairways are wide, but the water and bunkers make you think about your shots. It’s fun, not frustrating. The greens were in good shape the day we played and the whole course feels well looked after. Caddies were helpful without being pushy, and there’s just a nice rhythm to the round. Customers who book through Fairways of Eden often pick Laem Chabang when they want a standout round, and I can see why. It hits that sweet spot of challenge and enjoyment.
We went for lunch as I used to stay at the club every week when I worked at Amata City, so this was a bit of nostalgia. The club is splendid, with magnificent views over the fairways. The food was of a high standard and very reasonably priced, but we ate from the Thai menu. The European menu is somewhat more expensive, but still reasonable.
This is a spectacular golf course and an absolute must play if you’re ever in the area or come to Thailand to play golf. The layout is wonderful., they have 3 9 holes, it’s in fabulous condition and the caddies are very knowledgeable. Don’t wait go and play it and see for yourself.
