Corporate Golf Days in Bangkok

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Most corporate golf in Thailand happens in Bangkok, for the obvious reason that this is where the companies and the guests already are. It also has the deepest bench of clubs that can host a proper company event — a championship course, a ballroom, and staff who have run a hundred of these.

Why Bangkok

The blue-chip Bangkok clubs give a corporate day something a resort course cannot: a name your guests recognise. Thai Country Club hosted the 1997 Asian Honda Classic that Tiger Woods won; Alpine is a Johnnie Walker Classic venue and one of the most sought-after members' clubs in the country. Playing either on a Tuesday costs a fraction of the equivalent in Europe.

The constraint is geography. Bangkok's best corporate courses sit forty-five to ninety minutes from the CBD, and that is before traffic does what Bangkok traffic does. Coach transfers and a generous departure time are not optional.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a corporate golf day in Bangkok cost?

A fully organised tournament day with green fees, caddies, carts, a reception, dinner and trophies runs to around ฿6,900 per golfer, with non-playing guests joining dinner for roughly ฿2,300. A golf-only day at a mid-range course can be done for well under half that. Add ฿400–฿500 per golfer in cash for caddie tips, which no package includes.

Can we get a shotgun start at a Bangkok course?

Yes, with enough players. From around sixty upwards it becomes straightforward on a weekday, and it is the only practical way to run a prize-giving and dinner afterwards. Ask at the enquiry stage, because it determines which venues can take your event.

How far ahead do we need to book?

Two to four weeks is the minimum to hold a full tee block at a well-regarded club. For a shotgun start, a fixed date, or anything between November and February, allow two to three months — more if the date is locked around a conference or a visiting board.

What format works for guests who have never played golf?

Texas scramble. Each team plays the best of its shots, so a complete beginner never holds anyone up and everyone contributes something. It also keeps the round to a sensible length, which matters when dinner is booked for seven.
