Summit Windmill sells nine-hole rounds as well as eighteen, and the night-golf nine is the bargain: ฿900 for a visitor, on a Nick Faldo championship layout ten minutes from the airport. For a long layover, or an evening before a night flight, nothing else in Bangkok comes close. After 7.30pm the course is nine holes only in any case.

Summit Windmill is fully floodlit, and night golf is the club's signature offering rather than an afterthought. For visitors it solves two problems at once: it sidesteps the worst of the Bangkok heat, and it turns an evening you would otherwise lose to traffic into a round of golf. At ฿1,800 it is also the cheapest way to play the course.

Summit Windmill Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6,964-yard championship course laid out over 160 acres (400 rai) at Bangna KM 10.5, a few minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and parallel to its runway. Nick Faldo designed it, and it opened in 1993 as the flagship club of Summit Corporation.
Water is the defining feature — man-made lakes cover roughly 40% of the property, and they are in play on the majority of holes. Bermuda grass runs from tee to green, and the putting surfaces are severely contoured, so distance control on approach shots matters more here than at most Bangkok courses. The par-4 16th, with a long sweep of white sand running alongside the lake from tee to green, is the signature hole.
The clubhouse is modelled on a European castle and holds a pro shop, fitness room, locker rooms and restaurants, with an on-site hotel and suites overlooking the course. The whole layout is floodlit for night golf.
A proper Faldo championship layout that most visitors underrate because of its airport-side location. Water on nearly every hole and severely sloped greens make it a real test off the back tees, but four tee sets keep it playable. The reason to put it on a Bangkok itinerary is the floodlighting: night golf at ฿1,800 is the best-value premium round in the city, and it is ten minutes from Suvarnabhumi, which makes it the obvious choice for a first or last day. Book ahead — weekend tee times only open five days out.
Visitor green fees for 2026 are ฿3,500 on weekdays and ฿4,500 at weekends and on public holidays for 18 holes. Twilight golf is ฿2,500 and night golf ฿1,800. A compulsory caddie adds ฿450 and a cart ฿1,000, and caddie tips are extra and paid in cash.
Yes — the full 18 holes are floodlit. Night tee times run Tuesday to Friday from 4.08pm to 7.30pm, and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 5.36pm to 6.30pm. After 7.30pm you can play nine holes only. At ฿1,800 it is the cheapest way to play the course.
The club requires a minimum of three players per flight and a maximum of five, every day. Singles and pairs are joined to another group rather than turned away, so book ahead and tell reservations how many you are.

Played a round at Summit Windmill Golf Club today and really enjoyed it. The golf itself was solid and the course is well maintained, green, and fun to play. Layout is nice and challenging without being frustrating. Not used to having a caddy though, so for me that would be better as an optional thing. Overall a very good experience and worth playing if you’re in Bangkok.
Giving overall two for night golf only due to jamming as many people possible. We started at 4:08, the first slot for night golf, not to be held up by social fivesomes known to come out after 5 to drink and party with their caddies. Regardless, we waited 30 minutes at first shack on the 4th hole. Front nine took 2:45 minutes. Off to the 10th only to find a dozen players waiting to tee off - as they politely explained, they add a new group between each old one… old new old new to the already c
First time playing night golf! Started at 6pm but pace of play was a little slow. The weather was not bad for February. Caddie K (301) was the best caddie.. Will play here again.
