Play from your Bangkok hotel — courses 30–60 min from Sukhumvit.
Bangkok's Sukhumvit district is the most popular base for international visitors — and while no golf course sits in the city itself, you're within striking distance of dozens of courses in the greater Bangkok metropolitan area.
Most courses are 30–60 minutes from central Bangkok by road (traffic dependent). Early morning tee times are highly recommended — Bangkok traffic is light before 7am and you can be teeing off at many courses by 7:30am, finishing by lunch.
Transport tip: Negotiate a golf transfer with your hotel concierge, or use GrabCar. An early morning ride to a course 30km out typically costs ฿400–฿700 each way.
