The golf course is closed to non Thai residents, which we where told was due to an international aviation decision by ICAO. we where very disappointed on arrival as nobody answered the phones, even our hotel reception in Bangkok was disappointed that they didn't answer their phones as tey tried contacting the golf course for hours. We had to hitchhike into and out of any area inside of the Thai military checkpoint because Taxis are not permitted in the military zone of the airport.
Had a round here today (Saturday 13 July). The overall course I rated 4 stars. The fairways were good and challenging. Some were narrow but if you hit right or left, you still can play using others fairway. You need to ignore the sound of aircraft taking off and landing on both sides. Showers were good and a Restaurant can be found on the same level we you pay for Green Fee.
It deserves a five star seen the price we pay, it's very reasonable and playing between the planes is just a very special experience. It's not like a very high end course, but I do enjoy it a lot. In the rainy season, it is kind of wet though, the water does not drain that well. In the dry season, the soil is kind of hard, but still, I come here almost every week. Still enjoying the course on a weekly basis but as rainy season kicks in, it's a bit harder to play the course, as its wet so my sc
