Golf in Thailand in June

Last updated: 9 September 2026

Quiet, cheap and more playable than people expect.

June is one of the drier months of the wet season on the gulf side. Morning golf is reliable, the courses are empty, and green fees sit at their seasonal floor. The Andaman coast around Phuket is wetter than the gulf at this point, so lean east.

Playing in June heat

Whatever the month, the same rules apply in Thailand: tee off early, drink more than you think you need, and take a cart unless you have a good reason not to. A caddie is compulsory at almost every course and will carry, read greens and keep you moving — budget ฿400 plus a tip.

In June specifically, rain is the variable, and it usually arrives in the afternoon rather than the morning, so early tee times mostly play through.
