The RG City Golf Club - Dream Arena is an 18-hole course (par-71) in Rangsit, Pathum Thani. It's about 18 km from Don Mueang Airport (DMK) and about 35 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), as the crow flies. It was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2011. Nearby courses to pair it with include Legacy Golf Club and Lotus Valley Golf.
Dream Arena is the club's first 18 holes; the club plans more in later phases. Ron Garl shaped the course out of flat farmland around a large central lake.
The front nine copies famous holes from other courses, among them the island-green 17th at TPC Sawgrass, the Postage Stamp at Royal Troon and the Church Pews bunkers at Oakmont. The back nine is modelled on Augusta National's, including the par-3 12th. The club says the hole designs may change.
It is a different club from the RG Salaya Golf and Sports Club (formerly the Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club), which is in Salaya, west of Bangkok, about 50 km away. Both belong to the RG Group.
A novelty worth one round on a Bangkok trip, especially for anyone who will never get to Augusta. Access is the catch: it is a members' club, so book it well ahead through a tour operator and expect a weekday tee time.

Yes. Royal Gems Golf City is now called The RG City Golf Club, and Dream Arena is the name of its 18-hole course. The RG Salaya Golf and Sports Club is a different course, in Salaya.
