February holds the dry weather and adds a degree or two. Conditions are close to January and the courses are still immaculate. The one caveat is the north: burning season begins in the hills around Chiang Mai and the air quality drops sharply from late February.

Where not to go this month: Chiang Mai. Burning season fills the northern valleys with agricultural smoke and air quality can be genuinely poor.
Whatever the month, the same rules apply in Thailand: tee off early, drink more than you think you need, and take a cart unless you have a good reason not to. A caddie is compulsory at almost every course and will carry, read greens and keep you moving — budget ฿400 plus a tip.
In February specifically, conditions are about as good as Thailand gets, and the main constraint is availability rather than weather.
