The Royal Samui Golf and Country Club (RSGCC) was founded in 2006 by a small group of golf enthusiasts with the aim to offer an affordable but enjoyable golfing experience in a relaxed and scenic environment. Built on the mountainside of Lamai and Cheweng, the nine hole course offers spectacular views of Lamai, Cheweng and the surrounding islands in the background. Each hole also offers panoramic views of adjacent and neighboring holes with many breathtaking drops in elevation. RSGCC is a course that all golfers from novice to experienced will truly enjoy. A group of us played a game here and was really nice specially with the views, it’s very hilly so make sure you defo get a buggy and extra balls 😂 the people we met were amazing super friendly and helpful would highly recommend coming here if you are in Koh Samui and would like to play a round of golf ⛳️
Very difficult 9 hole course but amazing views. Fairways are okay conditions but greens are in good nick. This 9 is Trickier than the front 9 at the country club on the other side of Koh Samui. VERY fast greens and even trickier with the wind, so precision with irons probably the way around this course. Okay value, cart included too. Beware of expat American member, cocky, arrogant, entitled whatever adjective you can think of in that realm he’s it lol. He will tell you he'll play ahead and not
3.5 rounded up to 4. The course is in ok, not great condition, greens are very slow. It’s probably a bit expensive for what it is, I paid 2,850 THB for 9 holes, cart, club hire, 10 2nd hand balls, some tees and a glove (I think the glove was 700 which seems ludicrously expensive!) But staff are very friendly, and I enjoyed playing the course mainly because the views are phenomenal and it really is jungle golf which was a first for me
