Green fees in AUD, flights from Australia, and everything you need to plan your trip.
Australia has long had a close relationship with Thai golf. The short-haul nature of the flight (8–10 hours from the east coast), the significant Thai-Australian community, and the value proposition of Thai courses compared to Australian equivalents make Thailand one of the most popular offshore golf destinations for Australians.

Hua Hin — More relaxed pace, excellent courses including Black Mountain (frequently cited as one of Asia's top 20), popular with Australian expats and retirees.
Very — Thailand is one of the most popular short-haul golf destinations for Australians. The flight is manageable (8–9 hours from east coast cities), green fees are a fraction of comparable Australian courses, and the caddie experience is something unavailable in Australia.
Approximately 8.5–9 hours from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. Perth to Phuket is around 7.5 hours. Phuket is served by direct flights from several Australian cities.
Thai mid-range courses (฿2,500–฿4,500 = A$100–A$180) are broadly comparable to Australian public courses, but with a caddie included. Premium Thai resorts (A$200–A$320 incl. caddie) offer significantly better value than equivalent Australian resort experiences.
